Associate Vet (Full or Part-time) 

About: 

Equine Wellness and Performance of Central Florida is a full service equine-focused veterinary practice servicing Brevard County.

The practice has experienced rapid growth and we are looking to add a fourth veterinarian.

While we are primarily an ambulatory practice, we leverage our clinic for haul-in appointments, breeding, short-term boarding, rehabilitation, and treatment of non-critical horses. We offer a performance evaluation ring for comprehensive soundness, pre-purchase and performance exams. 

In addition to wellness care, we provide our clients an array of performance and integrated care solutions including ultrasounds, laser, endoscopy, ProStride, PRP, Bemer, and acupuncture. 

We are an innovative and family oriented team and believe that our people and their families are a priority, therefore offer flexible ways of working. Yes, you heard right….So while sharing on-call is a necessity for this role, we also believe that time to do the things you love is just important so expect a four day work week or let’s talk about a schedule that  is right for you. 

The candidate: 

The right candidate for this position is not only a great equine vet but an innovative thinker and great communicator. To fit in at EWP, the candidate reflects our values of care, trust, and collaboration. Experience with show and performance horses is a plus but not a deal breaker. As we grow, we want to offer more services to our clients, so if you have a niche that you are passionate about we’ll help you develop it. If you are new to practicing or have been doing it for 30 years, our interest is more about your passion and how you fit into our team.
