About:
Equine Wellness and Performance of Central Florida is a full service equine-focused veterinary practice servicing Brevard County.
While we are primarily an ambulatory practice, we leverage our clinic for haul-in appointments, breeding, short-term boarding, rehabilitation, and treatment of non-critical horses. We offer a performance evaluation ring for comprehensive soundness and performance exams.
In addition to wellness care we offer our clients an array of performance and integrated care solutions including ultrasounds, laser, endoscopy, ProStride, PRP, Bemer, and acupuncture.
About the role:
The practice reception/client relations team member often serves as the first point of contact for the practice. Relationships are key to the success of our business.
This individual serves as the hub of the practices and connects the client to the doctor with their insights and knowledge.
The person in this role must therefore possess the following traits:

This is a full time, clinic based position.
Overarching Responsibilities:
1) Ensure a smooth client experience from time of booking to follow up including:
- Oversee the utilization and management of the practice management system
- Own client scheduling
- Appointment management
- Rescheduling management
- Reminder management
- Serve as the go-between for clients and vets ensuring clear communications
- Continuously improve process and effectiveness of the communications
- Maintain patient files / records
- Entering new clients and patients
2) Oversee account wholeness including:
- Manage invoice completeness
- Ensure entry into the system
- Run weekly report on missing invoices
- Follow up with client on outstanding accounts receivables
- Communicate with clients about account issues or other required updates
3) Support good office practices creating a smooth, coordinated environment
- Coordinate / contribute to morning huddle meetings and follow up on action items
- Create, maintain and update front desk office procedures and information
- Maintain educational materials in front office
- Communicate with practice owner(s) regarding client / clinic needs
